Details of rental requirements
- Minimum Age: 21 years old (Driver surcharge applies from ages 21 to 24).
- Maximum Age: 65 years old.
- Payment Requirements: A valid credit card is required. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club, Discover Novus, and debit cards (debit cards are accepted for final payment only).
- The cardholder must be present at the time of the contract.
- For Dominican Republic Residents: A valid Dominican driver’s license is required.
- Additional Drivers: Must present a valid driver’s license.
- Identification: Official photo ID is required for Dominican Republic residents.
- For Foreigners: A valid driver’s license from your country of residence, along with a photo ID, is required.
- Payment Policy: Cash rentals are not accepted without a credit card with available funds, which is required for service payment.
Driving rules and tips
- The use of seat belts is mandatory.
- Use hands-free devices when driving if you need to talk on your cell phone.
- When returning your car, the fuel tank should be at the same level as when it was delivered to you.
- If you are returning the rented car at our airport offices, please return it 2 hours before your flight.
- Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to ride in the front seat.
- If you are traveling with a minor, please request the Baby Seat service.
- During the rainy season, be cautious of overflowing streams and rivers on the roads.
- Drive with caution and pay special attention to traffic signs and intersections with traffic lights.
- Do not park in dark places; always choose crowded areas.
- Be cautious of stray cattle and other animals on highways and streets.
- The speed limit on highways is 80 km/h, unless otherwise indicated.
- Avoid leaving valuables visible inside the car.
- 2WD vehicles are not suitable for unpaved roads; misuse may automatically invalidate the coverage purchased for the vehicle.
